THE Loch Ness Monster and the Rendlesham Forest UFO incident are among the creepiest mysteries still baffling the nation, a new study has found.

CREEPY: Brits are still baffled over the existence of the Loch Ness monster

Scotland’s enigmatic Nessie topped the list of unexplained phenomena in a study commission to mark the Halloween season – #Halloweek – on TV channel really.

The mystery of who built Stonehenge came second in the list with 32% of 2,000 Brits asked still scratching their heads over the puzzling structure.

The infamous Beast of Bodmin Moor, which still sparks intrigue with a number of sightings of the so-called phantom wildcat roaming Cornwall, came third in the list with 19%.

The Enfield Haunting, made famous by a recent TV series, came in fourth while the suicidal dogs at Overtoun Bridge and Agatha Christie’s “missing 11 days” all feature.  

A total of 12% of alien hunters among us still wonder what happened in the Rendlesham Forest UFO incident in 1980.

Unexplained nights were spotted over Suffolk woodland in two separate nights, with explorers finding burn marks on the ground – with no sign of debris.

Spooky.

The Devil’s Footprints of Devon, the Highgate Vampire, and the Hampton Court Ghosts make up the rest of the list.
