ISIS news: Recruiter Sally Jones ‘STILL ALIVE and trying to escape Syria’ Latest News

Reports this month suggested Jones, 50, and her 12-year-old son JoJo had been killed in a drone strike on ISIS capital Raqqa in June.

However, Daily Star Online has exclusively obtained correspondence between an intelligence agent and a hacker trying to arrange fake travelling documents for the jihadi.

The exchanges date back to August – two months after Jones is thought to have been killed.

In it, the hacker refers to Jones’ now-dead jihadi husband Junaid Hussain by the pseudonym “TriCk”.

DOUBTFUL: Previous reports suggested Sally Jones had been killed in June

The ISIS fanatic was reportedly using his email account at the time.

The hacker also recalls a prior conversation they had with Jones’ young son.

They write: “Tell her I need the password on Trick’s Gmail account and that it’s stored in a text file on her laptop. It’s kinda urgent.

“But I can’t figure out where she’s at lately. Was speaking to her 12-year-old son on xmpp a week or so ago lol…but heard nothing from her.”

MURKY: Part of the exchange between the hacker and an intelligence agent

The hacker was trying to provide Jones with fake travelling documents to give her access to mainland Europe or Britain, intelligence sources claim.

The exchange strongly suggests Jones’ son was alive in August and that she was also active.

David Otto, counter-terrorism and organised crime expert at Global Risk International, told Daily Star Online: “It is safer to lean towards the side that believes Sally Jones and indeed her 12-year-old son JoJo may still be breathing.

“It is a danger of consistency to claim a leadership decapitation that turns out to be a mistake of identity.”

BRAINWASHED: Jones took her son with her when she fled to Syria in 2013

“Sometimes top rated jihadists do not deny their alleged death because it keeps them alive and out of the look out”

Jones may actually have welcomed the news of her demise, as intelligence agencies will no longer monitor her as closely.

Mr Otto added: “Sometimes top rated jihadists do not deny their alleged death because it keeps them alive and out of the look out.”

Jones took JoJo Dixon with her when she left the UK in 2013 after being brainwashed by jihadi Junaid Hussain.

The pair then remained with the death cult after Hussain’s death in 2015, with Jones becoming a recruiter and Jojo joining the Cubs of the Caliphate youth ranks.

CONVENIENT: Jones may have encouraged the news of her demise to avoid detection

Her son has since featured in disturbing propaganda videos and reportedly been used as a propaganda shield.

Jones was previously thought to be recruiting an army of white Muslim women to attack the UK.

She worked alongside fellow terror fanatic Samantha Lewthwaite to form an army of jihadi brides on British shores.

It is understood MI5 cyber experts intercepted dozens of encrypted messages and phone calls indicating that British female muslims were being targeted by Jones and her evil ISIS cult.

PUNK TO JIHADI: Jones played in a rock band and reportedly lived on benefits in the UK

On Jones and Lewthwaite, an insider revealed at the time: “Both women have hallowed status in ISIS.

“They have huge influence and wield quite a lot of power within the male-dominated group.

“Intelligence suggests that they are now attempting to recruit in the UK and other European countries and they are targeting white converts.”
